Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of the organization's data architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives.
- Develop and implement data models, database designs, and data migration strategies.
- Define and enforce data standards, best practices, and governance policies.
- Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and tools.
- Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems with applications.
- Stay updated on emerging data technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on data management, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar senior data role.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and practices.
- Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and data integration.
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and solutions.
- Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques.
- Previous experience with master data management (MDM).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
