Impactribe is the first people-centric jobsite. Designed to connect mission-driven founders and organisations with like-minded co-creators. We empower flexible and inclusive working opportunities, fostering collaborations that align with values and purpose.

Our goal is to empower:

  • Jobseekers who prefer remote or flexible work to find meaningful opportunities with purpose-driven teams.
  • Founders seeking fractional roles to share their expertise, build their networks, and secure additional income while pursuing their entrepreneurial ventures.

Why the global recruitment system is broken:

After a decade in global recruitment, holding senior roles across three major job platforms in the DACH region, UK startups, and Berlin’s impact sector, I decided it was time to create my own jobsite. Why?

  • The landscape is shifting. While Indeed’s revenue is declining year-over-year, platforms like Upwork are seeing significant growth, reflecting the increasing demand for flexible and remote work. At the same time, companies like Amazon are calling employees back to the office by January 2025, despite the overwhelming interest in flexible, remote, and fractional roles. This disconnect signals a major opportunity: the future of work is evolving, and I aim to help bridge that gap.

Nobody who is somebody is looking for a 5 day in-office job anymore. 

  • We’re also witnessing highly qualified professionals with 20+ years of experience getting lost in LinkedIn’s sea of 200+ applications per role. Even during my time working at job sites, I saw key positions left open for months—despite being run by industry experts. And, the surge in demand for purpose-driven work that began with COVID is only growing.

The recruitment industry has failed to prioritise the individual user.

  • A flood of 200+ applicants isn’t benefiting anyone; it’s overwhelming for job seekers and hiring managers alike, leading to misaligned candidates and lengthy hiring processes. Meanwhile, companies are spending a fortune on recruitment marketing, only to make costly mis-hires.

The system is designed for scale, not for precision, which leaves everyone frustrated.

How is Impactribe solving this problem? 

Impactribe addresses recruitment challenges by focusing on personal alignment and quality over quantity in the hiring process. Here's how:

DESCALE

Impactribe minimizes the volume of irrelevant applications by prioritizing personal alignment over mass market hiring methods. Instead of attracting hundreds of misaligned candidates via one-click applications, it focuses on a smaller pool of highly qualified, niche candidates. This niche job board indexes a few hundred carefully curated roles, rather than overwhelming job seekers with millions of generalized listings.

FOUNDER-FIRST

Job ads include detailed founder profiles, where founders can share insights beyond what's on LinkedIn—like personal motivations, values, and the mission driving their company. By emphasizing the personality and vision of the founder, the platform ensures that applicants who don’t align with the founder’s values and mentality won’t apply, fostering a deeper connection between the candidate and the company.

COMMUNITY-LED

Impactribe integrates with existing high-level communities where like-minded people already connect. It offers a space for members to post jobs, projects, and collaborations, creating an ecosystem for co-creation with people who share similar values and goals. This approach fosters stronger, more meaningful professional relationships.
